Best Antique Faucet Reviews
When renovating either their bathrooms or kitchens, many people go for a shiny, new look that they feel will help them stay updated. Other people prefer a more vintage feel that is both trendy and timeless or at least add some accents that fit this trend pattern.
Such as copper countertops with a certain amount of wear on them, mirrors with an antique finish, or faucets from another time. Achieving this look can be pricey, and this is why most people shy away from bigger things like a bed, wardrobe or dining table.
They look for smaller items like an antique brass faucet or antique brass faucet with eh right amount of unlacquered raw finish that looks old.
Using these faucets add a touch of elegance, but to make sure that you’re getting the right piece or a replica of top quality, you need to see this list first.

Some users who have installed this faucet not only enjoy compliments but have said that using it daily, sometimes rather heavily has no impact on the design or quality at all. That it works just as well as the day they installed it.
The only issue that you might come across is the sprayer head that is so heavy, you’d have a hard time getting it to fit straight, and might fall forward.

Some users have mentioned how, after having used this for some months that the spray nozzle began to leak. We this is just a use case scenario, as they have mentioned how the knobs and everything well.
When we got our review piece, we observed how easy it was to install it, and we’re not exactly plumbers so to say. This Danze Chrome D404557 faucet is a solid auburn color and has a much better finish as compared to the patchy dark smoky look that some hardware pieces have.
We like this look and the construction feels solid, the spray attachment is heavy and just as well built, delivering a consistent and sharp water flow.
This faucet is great for when you want to swap out all old accents or have one of those open kitchen concepts with the visible sink.
For this price, its great value but the only downside is that there’s plastic inside the sprayer and is susceptible to breakage.

A great quality faucet for the price and the installation takes around 15 minutes, as the supply lines are already connected, while the other 2 lines can be fitted up quickly. So it’s impossible to go wring here
We absolutely LOVE this faucet, especially the high neck and the easy handle and we feel it’s worth every penny, easy to clean, looks great and is functional. At the same time, it is substantial, heavy-duty and cut out to be a pretty centerpiece. It is a stylish, beautiful fit for any kitchen, with that vintage feel.
There are these issues with durability though as the piece we got had a dent and scratch on it. Now they have made it easy to refund or replace as you see fit, but this left us thinking about how well the exterior would hold up under daily use.
The sprayer is plastic and the one we had on our Rubbed oil bronze review piece didn’t match and apparently this is the case with all of this Rubbed oil bronze variants. Just recommending a quick check before you buy, otherwise everything else checks out.

This is labeled as brass but the accents may just suit your copper-toned sink too – talk about versatility. This is a great buy when you piece together the price, quality, build and finish.
We had some trouble with the handles though when screwing them on to the sink we have here. It took us a minute but they eventually fit with a little elbow grease. We came across some reviews that had mentioned issues with tarnishing, but this was not cased in our review piece and too soon to tell.
Our main complaint was that the sprayer was flimsy – there are some mentions about this in those same reviews – and this looks like the type of things that can’t be fixed, just replaced. Barring this, you have the best value out there for a copper faucet, in our opinion. It is solidly made, holds up pretty well, easy to clean, attractive and easy to install.
Think about this when remodeling old fashioned or country kitchen sinks as it has this unique finish that suits rustic and modern settings. Sure, it feels well-made but we’re not sure how it holds up in the long run.
This European Style Antique Copper Two Handle Antique Brass Kitchen Sink Faucet has a unique design and is a tasteful retro style deck-mounted faucet. It is ideally suited for decorative kitchen as it is made out of brass metal with a matte brushed finish. The faucet head is unusual too, with a smooth, curved shape and has two handles on either side.

It really does looks nice once it’s been mounted, but depending on the kind of sink you have you may need to purchase several specialized parts to fit it up to our existing plumbing. What we did find odd about the design is how the handles turned in different directions. Else, the quality and look are perfect and looks like it will last for some time.
This Polished Chrome K-149-3-CP Antique Wall-Mount Kitchen Sink Faucet from KOHLER is the perfect finishing touch for traditional décor. This antique looking wall-mount sink faucet has that nostalgic charm and also six-prong handles, an 8″ swing spout and a conveniently placed soap dish complete as well.
Featuring timeless beauty and elegant detailing, this should add vintage appeal to all retro settings there is this built-in soap dish on top of the spout all made out of brass. Dual Use as either a Wall Mount Kitchen Faucet, or as a Bathroom Faucet.
- six-prong handles,
- brass valve bodies are time-tested and durable,
- for wall mount installation on 8″ centers, solid brass construction ensures years of reliable performance,
- 8 GPM (gallons per minute) maximum flow rate at 60 psi
- small compact design
Every part of this faucet screams superior quality. Note that the actual length of the spout begins from the center hole at the inlet where the soap dish has been attached and ends at the outlet center hole. And this is just right otherwise it would stick out a lot leaving little room to move around. But this depends on how far the valves have been set from the wall. The spout smoothly swivels left and right.
Why Antique Kitchen Faucet?
Brass Construction, Hardware Quality and Complimenting your Kitchen Decor:
Maybe you’ve come across antique brass faucets at a friend’s house or were attracted to the steam-punk or back-country chic interior décor palettes complete with the satin bronze spigot, steamboat style handles – whatever inspires you, vintage is a good way to go.
There are practical reasons for choosing metal, old-school kitchen faucets as well. For example, they are heavier, require less maintenance and are likely to last longer.
Now, actual antique brass kitchen faucets cost a lot and it can be tough to find something that fits your sink. You can opt for a replica, but they have bigger price tags as well owing to the popularity of this trend.
Some of your better, more affordable choices can be found at quality hardware names like Moen, Kohler, Danzer. Some of them might be pricey but here’s the thing – they are usually backed by excellent warranties and guarantee better quality. If you do find something for less, always check the construction, features, and warranty.
Most of these so-called metal finishes are simply a finish applied over a zinc core. They are reasonably serviceable, but once those coatings wear off, the corrosion will set in. and this is why they need to be replaced every few years or so.
Smart shoppers often go to find unusual faucet pieces at exclusive estate sales, online stores or bargains at a thrift shop – you can find all of the elegant, designer faucets you need right here in this list.
